So my kinda-SIL (my brother's long-time gf and they have children together) is a pro photographer, and she does all my photos - she did my senior photos, graduation photos, maternity photos, all my DS's milestone photos (so far) - you get the point. & we are very close, so of course my first thought was to have her in my WP, along with my best friend (MOH) and my sister.
But here's my dilemma...
A) she has offered to do my wedding photos, and the first thing she said when she saw photos of the venue was "ooh I have so many ideas for this!" & I'm also very comfortable with her - I'm not sure I would be as comfortable with another photographer that I don't know
She would prefer not to wear a dress because she's "fat" (her words not mine! this is also her reason for not marrying my brother until she "loses her baby weight")
C) Her doing the photos would be free (our gift) And otherwise I'm not sure we would be able to afford the same quality of photos with the same level of involvement (As in, I'd get any and all photos I want, copyright permission, whatever suggestions I'd make for editing she'd do, etc)
D) The WP would be uneven - 3 groomsmen and only 2 bridesmaids? I know it's not a big deal but it seems odd - though I would have 2-3 flower girls and there'd be only 1 ring bearer.
I know this is a lot, but DF and I both can't seem to come to a conclusion so I wanted some opinions to maybe help me in the right direction!
