My maid of honor text me saying " I'M not going to be in your wedding if you don't stop acting like a snot" I had no clue what to say to this or what to say back. The only thing I thought of is that she hasn't done anything with me yet regarding my wedding.
Alot of my bridesmaids were getting quite upset with her because she did come with once to look at bridesmaids dresses. The whole time she complained and kept saying she did not want to be there, and that she didn't want to try the dresses on, and I should just try them on because she didn't want to. I was very hurt by this because I felt like she should have been excited/ and wanted to try dresses on.
I did call her after 2 calls, she answered and stated that I forced her to come with to look at wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. I asked how I forced her and she said I didn't ask if that day worked for her. I specifically remember calling her and asking her if that day worked, and then planned the day.
During the phone call I told her I'm hurt that you don't want to help me with my wedding, and she replied I'm not here to plan your wedding. She then stated I'm not going to be your maid of honor if this is how your going to act. I told her if thats how she feels, its up to her. She said fine, I'm not going to be in it, and have a nice day when none of your family is there. She hung up then.
My mother is currently telling me she is not coming to my wedding, due to the fact that she is unhappy about that date we picked. It doesn't work for her because we didn't choose 2012. This is not the first time she has threatned not to come to my wedding.
Now I am at a lost.... Do I have an uneven party or do I add another Bridesmaid?
