So everything's all set for your wedding right? How's apartment hunting? Are you going to get your kitties back anytime soon?

HI Kate! For the wedding would you believe we only have to work out flowers, our first dance song and our do-not-play list, and favors (if they work out - going to try making cream cheese mints). We're sooooo close to finished! My parents are going to be over here in just over two weeks and I'm so excited to see them again - already, even though I just left them a week ago. Both my FMIL and my mom are crazy, but... I prefer my mom's kind of crazy. At least with my mother, FI and I seem able to do *some* things right....

Apartment hunting is going well, actually. A few places are coming back that are okay with pets. We have three viewings tomorrow, one on Thursday, and two on Saturday. So pretty much as soon as we sign a place and it becomes available, we'll be getting Abby and Olive out of the cattery. I can't wait till we have our own place again. And I miss my parents. I liked staying with them :^(

Thanks for asking. This might be a post-and-run, not sure how much I'll be on tonight, but how are things with you? You're getting your LSAT scores back in a couple weeks right? I feel like I read November 1?

Sorry, I was running around all afternoon and it took me awhile to get back on.

You would be correct with November 1st. The anticipation is killing me. There will be AW post with the information as soon as I get it.

I'm so glad apartment hunting is going well and that you get to see your parents soon. This is sooo exciting. So are you going to become an official English citizen or what?

You know, I'm actually not sure about cats vs. dogs which are more restricted, as I've only been asking about cats. When I've not seen "pets not accepted" I've only seen "pet(s) considered by individual assessment" or something like that. Actually I lie... only once I've seen specifically that dogs are not accepted. So yeah, might be an Arkie thing :^P

I really don't understand the pets thing. Why not just collect for damages, IF there even are any, later on?

Kate, eventually I will go for my citizenship here. From everything I've read I don't have to give up my American citizenship to do so. But it does take (currently anyway, I think the rules are set to change) five years of living here - and your immigration status goes through a couple changes in the meantime.
