Wedding Party

Flower Girl Dress

I am currently trying to find a flower girl's dress.  I have found one I like at Pink Princess.com; however, they are currently out of stock.  They told me it would be back in stock in about two to three weeks.  What should I do?  Has anyone ordered their flower girl dress from there?  What are my other options?

Re: Flower Girl Dress

  • Since you have 6 months until the wedding I'd say you aren't exactly under the gun when it comes to time.  And if you have a very little girl as FG I'd suggest waiting even longer--little kids grow like weeds and the dress you order today might not fit in August.

I haven't used that site but we had success with flowergirldressforless.com.

  • I would try looking at Burlington Coat Factory and other department stores for "Easter" dresses or other party dresses that will be lovely as Flower Girl dresses. You could also check out flowergirldressforless.com  They have a lot of cute dresses too, but for much less than getting them from bridal shops or designers.

  • Thanks ladies!  The flower girl's mother was getting nervous; therefore, making me more nervous.  I do have time so I'm going to wait a few weeks so see if that dress comes in stock.  Thanks! :)
  • Just get something pretty at Marshall's or a department store. It's insane to spend a lot of money on a child's outfit.

  • If you wait until after easter, you can get cheap easter dresses at any department store. WAY cheaper than flower girl dresses because they don't have the word "wedding" attached to them.
