and write a very pointed letter to every single company that advertises on here and let them know how *WONDERFUL* the forums are kept up here at The Knot?

Seriously, they switched the boards over in DECEMBER.

The following should NOT be happening ANYMORE!:
-Posts temporarily disappearing right after they are posted
-The most recent post on a thread displaying the wrong time elapsed (by hours)
-Displaying the wrong name of the last to post on a thread
-After posting on the Wedding Party Board, being somehow magically transported to the Detroit Brides page or the Ettiquette Board randomly
-Displaying the wrong name of a a poster when the thread is opened up
-Displaying the avatars of the last few people to post up in the right hand corner for the wrong board
-Shutting down the entire forum most every night for "updates" that don't help any of the current problems, but add more problems such as displaying every one and their fiance's names to the world whether or not they want them to be public.

Serioulsy, I have used a good number of forums through many different sites, and of course, they all had their little unique problems to deal with, but none of them have been anywhere NEAR the issues on this forum. It is PATHETIC, since The Knot is being paid a butt-ton to show off all of these ads to brides. Brides will find another source if the current source NEVER WORKS. Seriously Knot Gods, hire some IT people and get the F*** on the ball! How any business can function in this manner is beyond me.

I've adblocked pretty  much everything but sig pics, but from what I can see it looks like most of the advertisements on the actual forums are Knot and Nest ads. 

If anything, the forums barely working is probably better for companies advertising cash registries and matching bridesmaid jewelry since people are less likely to wander over to the forums to be talked out of those ideas.

BTW: the feedback email and the customer service email (I tried to be nice and analytical and try to help with the SQL issues) are both down.  I've been getting delivery failure notifications.

If there is a working email for mods, please make it available.

You can edit that by going to My Knot in the upper right corner, then clicking on Update Profile, and then changing your names in the profile information.

Horrendous.  I hate how posts disappear right after you hit "Add Post" - where the hell do they go??!?!? And then they magically come back - yay.

But yeah...wth, Knot? Get on the ball.

I posted a reply to something or other the other day ... it may have been in wedding beauty ... and my reply wound up in some post on the SOFLA local board! Sadly, the girl was talking about her e-party and really didn't care what lipstick I reccommend, lol.

Not to mention, there have been many occasions where my avatar is somebody else's picture (I've already "been" Banana, MsMeryMac and quite a few strangers).

Overall, I really hate the way it works, but I like the people on the boards. If I seriously didn't care either way, I probably never would have come back after the big "changeover".
