1st problem....My MOH and one of my bridesmaids (my two best friends) are both college students and don't have a lot of money (what college student does). I was wondering if it was appropriate to just pay for their bridesmaid dresses instead of giving them a present. I hate thinking that my wedding would put my best friends in a financial bind. My other two bridesmaids have more than enough money to pay for their own things so I was thinking of getting each of them personal gifts. I'm not sure if any of this is appropriate. Advice please?
2nd....Is it tacky for each bridesmaid to wear different shoes? One of my bridesmaid said it would be a little tacky in photos. But I thought it might be fun for each bridesmaid to bring their own personality into the wedding party by each choosing their own shoes, own jewelry, own hair, own make-up. Plus it might make a super cute photo op having a picture showing all of our different shoes in a creative way.
