  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". The DJ called my bms "Betsy and Cathy" when their names are Betsy and Katie. There were other things, but that one was pretty avoidable.
Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for?Yeppers, daddy owns a LOT of shotguns. We shoot clay pigeons off a cliff.
Favorite place to buy panties? VS or pink.
WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? I like to set a budget first, then go for getting them a theme. For the wedding nearest to now, we bought them all their wine glasses and a decanter. I love matching like that.

  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". There are sooo many people who are invited that don't get along...including FI's cousin-in-law, who gets drunk and acts like an asshat to everyone and starts fights.  Can't wait for that.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? A BB gun.  My father taught me how when I was a kid.  I've never shot a gun since.

Favorite place to buy panties? Victoria's Secret

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? Anything I can afford...the last shower I went to, I bought a nice set of sheets.

  • Things going wrong: I suspect anything with my dad will go wrong. He will want to make a toast, dance with me, or get drunk and start screaming out things. He and my mom do not get along so I see this going badly.

Shot a gun? Yes, FI and I own 9 handguns, an M4, two rifles, and a shotgun(he is a cop and army).  I've really like his Sig 220 .45 caliber. I've also been looking into buying the Taurus P111 9mm for my concealed carry permit.

Panties? Vic. Secrets; however I did watch something on 48 hours the other week about stores reselling used underwear! I'm more careful now. Vic Secs was on the list :(

Presents? I usually go for plates. I try to buy a few things to make one big gift.

If something did go wrong, I didn't notice.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for?
Just went shooting over Christmas while I was home.  It was a .32 rifle (shooting at a self reloading target) and a revolver.  FIL wanted me to feel the little kick with the revolver gives off.

    Favorite place to buy panties?
It used to be VS but now I am buying them from Macy's.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry?
Usually we go with the bed sheets.  I think about what I would love to have from my registry (as in what I hate buying for myself but I'd love to get as a gift).

What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong".  My FMIL and I will kill each other.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? Lots. My dad takes me to shooting range every time I go down to West Virginia. He has so many, I don't even know. He used to make guns for Smith & Wesson.

Favorite place to buy panties? Ewwwww, reselling panties?! Oof. I like VS, Gap Body or American Eagle.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? Every wedding I have gone to, we and a few other couples all chipped in to buy one of the remaining big things on the registry. Something that probably won't be filled but the couple won't buy themselves, I figure, if they almost have a complete set of bowls they'll finish that off on their own. The last one, 8 of us went in on an Espresso/Latte/Cappucino Machine.
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong".   I have this horrible fear of no one showing up (hurry up and RSVP, dammit!) I even had a dream about this recently but FI reminded me that the two of us are the only people who need to show up and the less people who come = less dinners to buy! lol. He always knows how to look on the bright side, ha.   Other than that I am totally going with the flow.
At my friends' wedding the bakery didn't deliver her cake so someone ran out at the very last minute to purchase a small 8" grocery store cake so they'd have something to cut for photos. lol.
Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for?  Nope but we're planning to get own soon now that we're homeowners and take shooting classes.

Favorite place to buy panties?  Used to be GAP but I'm less than impressed with their current selections...

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry?  Something in the range I feel comfortable shopping in. But I try to get the fun things I'd like to get that wouldn't necessarily buy for myself...
The Bump ate my signature. DD - Apr 2011 DS - expected June 2013
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". The wine didn't get delivered, and we had to send BIL out to buy whatever he could find. Not ideal, but it definitely didn't ruin the night.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? An air rifle. My dad has one, and I've shot it at a target before. Also a BB gun with some friends.

Favorite place to buy panties? Victoria's Secret and Nordstrom's were my last purchases.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? I look to see if anything in my price range would have special significance based on what I know about the couple/what kinds of things we do together, and if not I just buy a present that I think sounds nice.
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong".My only disaster was that no one brought the marriage license back from the church (it was outside where we were doing pictures) and it started raining.  But the church ladies found it and took care of it.
Oh, and apparently my drunk WT aunt fell and hit her head in the shower and had to get stitches after the RD.  I didn't know this until much later.
Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for?Not a real one.  I don't like guns.
Favorite place to buy panties? Target.  I know, but I'm on a boyshort kick, and they have my favorite kind.
WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry?I like to get specialty appliances.  I just bought a friend a waffle iron.  I like getting stuff that you only drag out for special occasions, because I feel like it's the stuff you'd never buy yourself.
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". I am thinking my dad might do or say something stupid or embarrassing.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? Yes. Just a .22 target shooting. I'm getting into the bigger guns and practicing so I can start hunting this year.

Favorite place to buy panties?  Aerie and Victoria's Secret.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? Money or gift cards.

What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". I'm very concerned that my fiance's mother will make an unplanned appearance.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? No...

Favorite place to buy panties?  I've recently gotten them at Hanes.com.  They have cute boy shorts.  I used to do VS and Gap Body, but I needed a change.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? I dislike buying solely from the registry, so I pick one registry thing and then be creative.  One wedding, I bought tapas pans from the registry and added a gift certificate to a tapas restaurant.  Another wedding I bought the baking things from their registry to make a pie and then paired it with good pie recipes on nice recipe cards and some of the ingredients.
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong".
Probably my FILs getting all loud and yelling at each other in Romanian, which could or could not mean that they are actually mad at each other. That's just how they communicate.
OR something not going right with the cleanup afterwards. That's actually my biggest fear.
Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for?
I got a Red Rider BB Gun for my 12th birthday and have used a rifle and a pistol. My dad's rule is "if you kill it, you eat it", so I havent done much more than target practice and shooting in the general vicinity of snakes and wild dogs just to scare them away. My dad thinks I should get a concealed carry license and he'd buy me a gun, but FI is not really comfortable with one in the house. Its bad enough the Red Rider is in the spare closet.
    Favorite place to buy panties?
Fredericks of Hollywood. Reasonable prices and sizes that fit real people.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry?
Usually kitchen stuff, but it really depends on what they registered for. My last friend to marry registered for a few board games, so I got her those.

Me too! I never ever say it in real life, it grosses me out. And I was going to mention that, but I have cold medicine brain and forgot.
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". I'm afraid my fiance's bitterly divorced parents will both show up and make a scene.

At a recent wedding I was in, the officiant MISPRONOUNCED the bride's name. And not a little. The groom corrected him and he still mispronounced it.
Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? Yes, military family marrying an ex-marine. Recently, I've been shooting my fiance's 22 Sig, 40 and 45 H&K, and Desert Eagle.

Favorite place to buy panties? Used to buy at VS, but I've been less than impressed the last couple times I have gone in.

When you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? I sort of buy off the registry but personalize it, for example, a friend had a spatula set on her list. I found some in her favorite color (in a different store) and had it personalized with her married name. I then got a bunch of stuff that matched it (cute apron, oven mitt, etc).
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong".  I can see the drama in my FI family going all hay wire - which will completely suck. But - staying positive.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? Nope.

Favorite place to buy panties? Victoria's Secret

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? Towels and Bedding - I love fabrics.

Ha, this actually happened at my wedding too, I think I'm just used to it by now in Chile. The officiant managed to get Emily and my last name right, but Jane became "Janes" every single time she said it. I just figure if DH and I ever decide to get divorced, it'll be easier because we can claim we were never really married in the first place - especially since due to the earthquake changing people's travel plans, I switched witnesses at the last minute, and mine didn't actually speak Spanish. Oops!

(And umm, kidding on the divorce part. So far we like this whole being married thing.)
  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong". I am having mild panic attacks about what may or may not go wrong at the wedding. I worry I will trip and fal down the huge staircase at our venue. I worry our friends will act out, I worry my mother will drive me insane, and mostly I worry that my dad, who is sick and wheelchair bound, won't be having a good day the day of my wedding, and that he won't be able to make it or stay the whole time. And then I worry again, about my mother.

Yeah, I'm calm and collected about the whole thing. (sorry about the mini rant)

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? I have shot a beebee gun before, right into my brother's buttocks while my other brother tried to teach me, No one has let me near a gun since.

Favorite place to buy panties?  I work at VS so I am partial.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? I like gadgets. I always tend to lean towards the fun appliances, wine chillers, fondue sets, cool coffee pots. Generally the things I would really want.

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for?  Water gun?

Favorite place to buy panties?  Kohls. I do 99% of my shopping there. My mom is a manager, and figure it pays her salary.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry?  Housewares, like fancy wine glasses, carafes, that kind of thing.

  • What can you see going "wrong" at your wedding? If you're already married, say something that DID "go wrong".  The only things I really "expected" going wrong was my older sister or the Best Man not making it for their different reasons. Both of them made it, so that worked out ... trying to think if anything went "wrong". I mean, the RB had to potty right before I walked down the aisle, but it didn't mess anything up. And for all of my b!tching about the Best Man's FI, that wasn't really something going "wrong" at the wedding, since that's how she always is. Hahaha, I had a "perfect" wedding, lol

Have you ever shot a gun? What kind? What for? Just a beebee gun at soda cans. Bio-dad was under the impression every kid needs to do that at least once. I really didn't care either way about it.

Favorite place to buy panties?  I'm so frugal and simple when it comes to a lot of things, but Victoria's Secret is the best. Even their basic cotton briefs (Which is what I usually get) are nicer than the stuff you'd get from Hanes, lol.

WHen you attend someone else's wedding, what gift do you like to typically flutter towards on their registry? I actually never look at the registry, even for shower gifts. I always give a gift card (Usually to where ever the registry is at) or cash.

  • Oh weighing in on the use of the "p" word.

The word makes me cringe. In our house, they're called "Undapants!" (Cory Matthews style), or DH and I will reffer to mine as "delicates" (In an incredibly snooty-sounding tone) ... as you can see, the House of Meg is very refined and mature, lol.

I'm the same way with "panty-hose" and "tights"-I can only call them "stockings", lol
