So I am planning to have a light blue wedding, but my mom who is having someone do the flowers wants to know exactly what kind of blue and is kinda pushing me to have an all pastel colored wedding. I love blue. But i am having trouble pinning down the exact blue shade I want in my bridesmaid dresses. I am not completely sold on the pastel idea and not sure my FI would be either. But my mom has got pink accent flowers for the tables and we plan on using a blue ribbon. And the tux I would like the guys to rent has a blue-grey tie and vest...FI and I are going to the store in a few weeks so I can get his opinion. Is it okay to have a color palette of one color but different hues? That way I dont have to get the dresses now so my mom can match the ribbon to it?
