So my mentor has asked me what he is doing on the wedding day.....the problem is there is really nothing for him to do. Before my husband and I asked him to be our officiant (we are having a civil ceremony), although honored at the idea he was reluctant due to his religious beliefs. Then I suggested he be our MC at the reception but he never said a yes to the idea and instead asked if we were getting a DJ, so I took that as a no. He then asked how the planning was going and I explained that I did not want to have our family and friends put to work on a day that was suppose to be a celebration (that has changed due to that concern) and he just agreed with me. Now he is asking what he is doing on our wedding day, but we don't have anything more to assign out! Could anyone offer advice on a special type of assignment I could offer to him? One thought I had was for him to help with "finding" family members during photos before and after the ceremony?!
