I've just been asked to be the mistress of ceremony at my close friend's wedding. I feel honored to be part of her special day, we've known each other forever. I'm not quite sure what to wear for a dress though, she has picked out strapless chiffon dress that has an asymetrical bottom hem and ruched bust for her bridesmaids, it's just below knee length. She told me I could pick out my own dress. She has 6 bridesmaids including the Maid of Honor and all of the dresses are going to be a different color.
I'm more pair shaped, so I will get something that definately will flatter my figure, but I'm not sure what color to pick, what length to pick and whether to go strapless or not. What colors are in this season? The wedding is in May 2011. I'm 30 and this is an outdoor wedding at a gazebo and an indoor reception to follow. Thanks!
