Ideas for Groomsmen Gifts

Me and my fiance are getting married in September and he still has not picked out his groomsmen gifts. We are doing a camouflage wedding. I have tried giving him some ideas but he is being quite picky and not in our budget. He does not want to do a beer mug, a flask, shot glass, or a hat. So I am looking for ideas on gifts. We have 7 groomsmen in our wedding party so trying to keep the gifts under $30. If you could give me some ideas that would be great. thanks!!

Re: Ideas for Groomsmen Gifts

  • Shop for them like it is their birthday or Christmas.  What hobbies do they have?  What are their interests?

  • What do they like?  Electronics?  Gift card to Best Buy.  Go out to eat?  Gift card to the favorite restaurant.  Music?  Some iTunes or a nifty accesory to their iPod.

They all do not have to match nor do they need to have ANYTHING to do with your wedding theme.  They all are individuals and have their likes and dislikes.  Go from there.
  • DH got his attendants, respectively, a leather fedora, a spice rack, a putting kit, a poker set, and a vibrator.  None of them had anything to do with the theme or style of our wedding.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

I am most curious about this one.
  • The groomswoman was really hard to shop for.  She opened a box of various Easter bunny stuff (Peeps, chocolates, stuffed animals) at the rehearsal lunch, then he pulled her aside and gave her her Rabbit in private.  She was no longer single by the time the wedding rolled around, but it's one of those gifts with... universal appeal.

  • FI got his guys autogrpahed pictures of their favorite athletes. Not in your budget but an idea if you run out.
  • Not sure if this would apply, but my FI and I might be ordering cufflinks from Etsy.  Each guy has their own interest so we are going with that. It looks like we are purchasing cufflinks that feature, music notes, aliens, chess, martinis, aviators, and shotgun shells....

  • cufflinks are a great idea.  you can get a different one for each groomsman to match his personality or hobby.  this site has some awesome prices on their cufflinks... http://www.cuffsmart.com/
