    -What does he do? Auditor
    -How did you meet? At work.  We both used to be auditors in the same office.
    -How old is he?  37.
    -Thing that attracts you the most to him? He makes me laugh.
    -Is he the type you expected to marry? Not at ALL!  I did not expect to marry someone more than 10 years older than me who was losing his hair.  I actually was crushing pretty hard on someone else at work when I first met DH and didn't give him much thought.  But then DH and I became friends and after awhile I really found myself attracted to him and deep down knew we'd get married, even before our first date.

    What does he do?He's a computer programmer. He makes cell phone games and applications and is a CEO. He also is free lancing right now with another company that deals with video cameras in parking lots.
    -How did you meet?We lived in the same building in NYC. We became friends first!

    -Thing that attracts you the most to him?His brains, his sense of humor, how he provides for me, and his support for my career.
    -Is he the type you expected to marry?No not at all. I always dated pretty boys meaning surfers with no brains. My folks were not expecting him at all. But I wouldn't have it any other way now.

    -What does he do? He is an Operations Supervisor for an apartment complex
    -How did you meet? He was a frat boy and I was astupid sorroity girl, we became friends. We never worked in college, but once he moved back and we graduated, we just worked out.
    -How old is he? 31, I'm 26
    -Thing that attracts you the most to him? Hhas the best legs I have ever seen on a boy. He's a bog teddy bear, and he has a bigger than life personality.
    -Is he the type you expected to marry? Not at all, truth is, I was stubborn about dating him in college because he didn't fit the "maggie type"  I always dated tall, dark hair, preppy type, and he's a loud Puerto Rican, that would wear shorts and flip flops every day if I let him. On paper, we are complete opposites, and I usually dated people who were more like me than he is.

    Yay brooke!!!! Brooke- did you create an inner bride or something that you haven't had before because your posts look different to me somehow. It might just be because I am sick.

    One of my BMs, owns a boutique. Its doing so well, that she got approved today to expand her business and open a second location! I am so excited for her!

    Yes, I finally caved in and created an inner bride.  I don't want to post photos but it's a decent likeness, so I figure next best thing.

    DH had been out of work for about a year when he was offered a job 3,000 mi away at the end of the summer.  Great job and one that would be worth relocating for even in a good economy.  It was too late for me to transfer (law schools are really regimented about it) so we've been long distance since 2 weeks after we were married.  We'd much rather live in So Cal (where he is) than Boston (where I am).  So I'm thrilled.  Especially since I still get the law degree from my current law school, which is ranked MUCH higher than the one near DH.

    This is actually a SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!  topic for me today, and I don't even generally approve of squeeing! :) I am sooo freakin' excited right now because FI just landed an architecture job working as a civilian in the Air Force out in Northern California...we're moving in June! I am sooooo freakin' excited right now. I was so not having a good day until I got this news like 2 hours ago. OMG! I need to start looking for a job that is completely nothing like the job I have now, lol.

    So, long story short: My FI is an architect (in training, first he needs to complete his intern hours and take a licensure exam).

    We actually met in high school German class and started dating when I was 16 and he was 17. We totally both thought we would be together forever back then! It seems kind of silly looking back, but that is how it is working out, so maybe we weren't complete idiots in high school.  :)

    He is 24, almost 25

    Thing that attracts me most is how he understands me better than anyone.

    Is he the type that I expected to marry? ...um, well, since I met him when I was 14, I'm not sure I had an image of who I would marry at that age...I was thinking about homework and sports, not boys! lol.

    Awesome news, Brooke. It seems that you AND stina have been liberated recently. That's so cool.

    I paid off my student loans yesterday, and I'm so freaking proud. Of course, if I hadn't lost so much on my house sale I wouldn't have had as good of a tax refund. Silver lining, right? I also used some of that money to buy the steam mop I've been wanting. Its AWESOME! I might actually enjoy cleaning something now.

    I loved it. I had a friend convince me to sign up, so I paid for 3 months and only used 2 weeks. SHe and her first match got married last October. FI paid for 6 months, and used less than a week. He also has a friend/coworker who married someone on e-harmony, and convinced him to sign up.  I was his first match, and he was the first one I got all the way to meeting in person. This is the easiest relationship I have ever had. Not once in the past 3 years have I doubted that he is the one for me.

    Wow emily, lots of good news for you too today...

    I now have a WR question.. What flavor cake/filling did you guys have? Fi and I don't care about the cake except for how it looks, so we let my mom pick the flavors. She wants almond cake with pineapple filling. Rick thinks its weird, but she has always gotten that type cake, so I am used to it. Opinions?

    My mom ordered our cake for us and through a miscommunication got the only filling I asked her not to get: lemon.  (Not the end of the world but we had a good laugh about it).  So it was a plain white cake with lemon filling.  We didn't want a fancy flavor because 1) to us wedding cakes are white, 2) everyone likes simple flavors so it wouldn't go to waste, and  3) we didn't want to spend lots of money on it.

    What does he do?
    He's a graphics design artist and does a lot of other things but I am so technically challenged I don't even know what the rest means.

    How did you meet?
    We met in high school in Spanish class.  We were paired up to do a project, create a drawing of a house using only Spanish words, and he was so cute he made "our kids" bedrooms.  Too bad I didn't keep that drawing, it would have been really cute to have pulled it out at our wedding.

    How old is he?
    29

    Thing that attracts you the most to him?
    He is so smart but not in that cocky or nerdy way.

    Is he the type you expected to marry?
    He is exactly the type I thought I'd marry.  A supportive, kind, handsome man.
