My fiance was in a good friend's wedding about 2 years ago as a groomsman. We are now having our wedding and my fiance has 3 close friends that have grown up together and they are all in agreement that they'll be in each other's wedding parting practically since they could talk. I on the other hand don't really have this same bond with any girls really so I was able to choose more freely who I wanted to be a bridesmaid. Instead of having another groomsman, I opted to include the couple by having that bride being a bridesmaid. She accepted and we explained the situation and everything was fine. Then a couple of months down the road we now find out that (from them in the form of a phone call) that they are actually really pissed off that he isn't a groomsman. HELP! Is there something that we can offer him as a alternate to being in the wedding party?
