Jeweler for E-ring-Recommendations Needed!

Hello from the bitter cold of MN!  My brother just informed me that he may be looking for an e-ring soon (hooray!).  I'm active on the MN board for my upcoming wedding and have gotten so much helpful advice on that board.  

So I was wondering if you ladies have any recommendations of good jewelry stores in the San Antonio area that my brother should go to?  Any places he should stay away from?  Thanks so much!

    Both of my sisters got their e-rings from Americus Diamond (I-10 at DeZavala). I don't think I've heard a bad thing about them!

    I got mine from Kay's Jewelers, and I love it.

    We got my wedding band from Jared's and I love that too. They have a nice selection of e rings.

    I also recommend Americus Diamond!  My husband got my rings there and they were great!  No pushy sales people, my ring is beautiful and they have great customer service and TONS of styles in every price range.
    If he's looking to have something custom made, my parents have used San Antonio Jewelry (newly relocated to 1604 and Huebner) for 20 years.  They are well respected here as well!  They have a nice selection of diamonds but they will also design and set a diamond that you purchase elsewhere.

    My fiancee bought my engagement ring from Americus Diamond, and the center diamond from Jared's.  When he went to have the diamond set at Americus they told him the diamond was cut incorrectly and couldn't be set!  He was really upset, but he took it back to Jared's and they exchanged it without too much hassle.  We love Americus Diamond - their selection is wonderful and the staff is very helpful.

    My e-ring is from Blue Nile but my Maid of Honor's is from Americus and it's beautiful! I actually went with her to look at them (her FI told her to look at some there) and they were really helpful.

    My fiance got my ring at Americus diamond & we recently ordered my wedding band there too.  I say ordered because they're combining 2 rings into 1 & then changing the type of setting from channel to shared AND molding it to fit around my engagement ring perfectly.  Sadly I have to live w/o my engagement ring for 2 wks.  This custom wedding band is also just around the same amount as my engagement ring which wasn't super expensive.  Great customer service, no pushy sales people, and they're just so willing to make things exactly as you want them.
