Wedding Party

WPBP of the day

When you were little, did you leave cookies and milk out for Santa?  What kind of cookies?

What has the highlight of your year been so far?

What are you looking forward to next year?

This isn't a question, but I'm in the mood to see some cute animals, so post a picture of yours.

Re: WPBP of the day

  • When you were little, did you leave cookies and milk out for Santa?  What kind of cookies? Yes!  Usually sugar cookie cutouts that we had decorated.

What has the highlight of your year been so far?
Getting married and I think our honeymoon will also be a highlight.  We leave in a little over a week for that!

What are you looking forward to next year?
Hopefully a less busy year.  We were so busy with our wedding and attending friends' weddings that it seemed like we were never home.

This isn't a question, but I'm in the mood to see some cute animals, so post a picture of yours.

Sleepy Kitties...back in the day when they were little.  Tallica and Malu

And now they are all grown up.

  • When you were little, did you leave cookies and milk out for Santa?  What kind of cookies? Probably, but it's been so long, I can't remember...maybe we'll leave some out for him this year ;)

What has the highlight of your year been so far? Probably taking the kids to New England for Spring Break

What are you looking forward to next year? Getting married of course :)

This isn't a question, but I'm in the mood to see some cute animals, so post a picture of yours. I don't have pets...sorry...
  • Why do people keep saying that getting married was the highlight of their year and then following that with "I know that sounds lame."  Why would that be lame?  Unless you won the lottery or something the same year you got married, I'd like to think that a person's wedding would definitely be the biggest highlight of their year!

And Meg, everyone knows that sunglasses=cool.

  • I think for me, it sounds lame to say "getting married was the highlight of my year", just because I'm one of those people that insists "you don't need to get married to be happy" and that the reception is "just a party" ... and I do really believe those things ... so I kind of feel like a hypocrite when I turn around and say "Putting on the big white dress and dancing my butt off as DH's wife was the greatest thing everrrrrrr!!!!" (Even though it totally was, lol).

  • I don't think it's lame at all...but other than planning my wedding, as well as being a BM in my BFF's wedding, are the only things that I KNOW are going to happen next year...oh, yeah, and I'm turning 30, but who calls that the highlight of their year? :)
  • When you were little, did you leave cookies and milk out for Santa?  What kind of cookies?
    Not that I can remember.

What has the highlight of your year been so far?
My summer vacation.  It was wonderful to not do anything and take a nap everyday.

What are you looking forward to next year?
Graduation for nursing school!  It's been a long time coming.

    Suki (AKA Kitty)!
