I'm reading that ushers can be a separate group from the groomsmen. Is this correct?
Is there a female equivalent of ushers? Should they just be called ushers? Should they just be made bridesmaids?
I'm thinking of a bride who has extra friends or maybe cousins that she doesn't want as bridesmaids, but wants to include. How would a female usher's duties differ, if at all, from a man's?
