We didn't have one.  But think about what she would like.  Is she into stuffed animals, Dora the Explorer or Barbies?  Does she read yet?  Does she like to play dress up or wear pretty jewelery?

We have 3 flower FI's 2 daughters and my god daughter.  We are getting them little heart shaped lockets to wear on the wedding day.

Shop for her like you would for her birthday.  Ask her mom what she would like.

What's her favorite toy of the moment? Ask her mom for advice.  What you get her doesn't have to be a "keepsake" or even be about your wedding.

Most of the 5 year olds I teach are very specific about what their favorite color is, who their favorite Disney princess is (if they have one), what their favorite toy is, etc.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

Repeat this to your self: My Wedding Party is made of my family and friends and I should treat them as such.

I just bought my flower girl TwinkleToes sneakers (she's also my daughter).  Bridal Barbies are popular.  When my girl was 5, she'd have loved a set of nail polishes, anything Princess related, or dress-up shoes/clothes.  I will never know how I ended up with such a girly girl!

I would go with treating it like a birthday present like someone previously said. They way you can get them something they like. If you have time you can always take them shopping and let them pick it out themselves, like taking them to Build A Bear and letting them make a special stuffed toy to bring with them on that day.
