Love Letters

I can't decide if I want to exchange love letters before our First Look prior to the ceremony, or if we want to seal our unread love letters in a box with a bottle of wine to open at our 1st anniversary (and repeat yearly, while collecting the love letters into a book), of there is another idea where the letters and wine are sealed for a 10 year anniversay and only opened if having a really rocky point where we need to fall in love again... What are you ladies doing or what are your thoughts?

I'm giving my FI's best man my Fi's wedding gift and a note inside which he will not get until the morning of telling him how much i love him and what not.

I never thought about the yearly thing or even the 10 year thing. I like those ideas

this is what we are doing. our photographers will be with each of us when we open the gift and read the letters

I haven't thought about it too much yet. We're doing a first look as well and I'm leaning towards reading them right before we see each other for our first look. I didn't vote though.

I voted pre first look, but I love the idea of 1st anniversary.

I voted letters and wine in a box to be opened on your first anniversary.

My thinking was you'll want that day to be extra special too and you won't have to worry about your make up running at all before your first look.

I voted for the last option, but we might make it 5 years instead of 10! We're not doing a first-look.
