I've been really scared of trying on dresses. I felt like once I bought a dress people would forget about my late husband, think I forgot, and feel like they couldn't talk about my late husband. I don't know why the dress had this sort of feeling for me but after my husband died my old dress made me nauseous to look at it and even to be in the same house as me. (It now "lives" at my MIL house). And not even get me started about how I am not loving my body right now.
So after
blogging (<---clicky) about over the weekend, my BFF/maid of honor and I decided to just go ahead and cross that bridge now. I made an appt with a less popular bridal salon but has several popular designers including a dress I had been eyeing. I was slightly nervous because this store is in a mall but to my surprise they were really helpful and sweet.
