FI booked our honeymoon today! We definitely wanted an AI in the Carribean! We originally wanted to go to Aruba but after pricing resorts there it was little more than we were looking to spend and the AIs were only listed as 3 star resorts for close to $5000 without airfare! Our honeymoon budget was $3,500 (with airfare) We went to a few travel agencys and they all told us the same thing,,, we cant get 5 star resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, or Dominican Republic for much less and it's just as beautiful if not more so! So I researched those three places and we decided to honeymoon in P unta Cana, Dominican Republic!

It is 4.5 stars and has so much to offer! They are apparently have an amazing early booking special. We booked June 11th-June16th and including airfare from Newark, NJ we came under budget! $2,970! Wooohooo!
We booked a swimout suite...it has a jucuzzi in the suite and a hammock on the patio! swimout, jacuzzi, and hammock on a beach resort with everything included was everything I was looking for!
Why can't it be June 2012 yet?!
