So I went shopping this past weekend for the first time and I found my dress! It wasn't the experience I was expecting since the place I went to didn't take appointments so we could just go whenever we wanted and then we get there and we aren't actually working with any consultant. Me and my sisters went around the store picking out any dresses that I wanted to or they wanted me to try on. It ended up being so much fun because not only did I try on dresses I liked but I also got to try on dresses that definitely weren't my style and would never get but were just really fun to try on. The last one I tried on was the one and it has everything I wanted in "the dress." I'm so excited for when it comes in, they said it should only take about 3-4 months! One of the best shopping trips ever!!
So here is my question, when paying for the dress, I put down the deposit which was half the cost of the dress. Then while at home walking around with my sister, who is also one of my maid of honors, said she wants to come back up for when I have my first fitting and pay for the rest of the dress. I was really shocked and excited at the same time because she knows we are planning a wedding on a tight budget and then when I mentioned it to my fiance he almost immediately said no. I wouldn't mind too much taking her up on the offer because it would help out a lot with the wedding but I don't want it to be a problem with my fiance. Do you think that would cause too much of a problem if I said yes to my sister, and what would you do if you were in my place? Thanks!!
