Has anyone been thinking of getting a prenuptial agreement or have you talked to FI about one?
This was brought up to me by my brother (who doesn't care for FI) and by my mother & aunt (who like FI very much and want the best for both of us).
I've owned my own 2-family house for 6-1/2 years now. Bought it on my own without any help from anyone. I have some debt but FI has none. We have been together for 3 yrs now and he has helped me out greatly with fixing up the house and otherwise financially. We both only have a little bit of savings, but I do have a 401K with quite a bit in there so far.
How would I bring up the subject without hurting FI? This is both of our second time getting married. I know it's going to work, but there's always that IF factor and I feel I need to be responsible to be able to take care of my son.
