I've written about my dresses before, but I finally have pictures of me in them to share!
Here's the first gown, a Jorge Manual dress that I won. It's beautiful and one-of-a-kind, but after I had it, I realized that I can't move around very much in it! Here's a picture of me in it at my seamstress's shop:
After I won this dress, 1 of the 6 dresses I liked when I went dress shopping popped into my head...the Amsale Kennedy. I realized that it was THE ONE. I decided to search for a sample or preowned one.
This is a size 8 that I found at Vows (aka Bridepower.com) in Watertown, MA (just outside of Boston). They sell samples and overstocks...I'm not sure where this dress came from, but it was in almost perfection condition. It needs to have taken in a bit, so pardon the awkward pose as I hold a fist full of fabric behind my back.
I folded a queen blanket in half and laid it on the floor in front of the only full length mirror in my little home, which is in the hallway outside the bathroom. Please excuse the background.
I'm not sure about how to wear my hair. I do not like wearing my hair all up, but I sort of feel like the dress demands it with the bow. What do you think?
