I saw your question about the resort we're staying at in the Riviera Maya and wanted to share some details with you  

We are going to El Dorado Casitas Royale the first week of July.  There are several El Dorado resorts in the Riviera Maya area, and from what I know/hear they are all awesome!

FI and I stayed at El Dorado Seaside Suites two years ago, and it was AMAZING.  We loved it!!  Great service, excellent food/drinks, gorgeous beach.  There was entertainment in the evening but we didn't really partake so I don't have much info on that.  One of my favorite features was the covered beach beds.  I have a sun allergy, so it was super nice not to have to reapply sunscreen every 15 minutes, and they were so comfy!  

FI's cousin and wife stayed at El Dorado Royale recently and they raved about it.  They loved it so much that they are booking their next vacation there. 

I would definitely check it out!

thank you so much! We are actually back and forth between El Dorado Royale and Secrets Maroma Beach.  Both have awesome reviews we are just waiting to hear back from our TA (Fi works for Georgia Power and their TA gets awesome deals) to see what she can do for us as far as pricing and since we like both, we will most likely go with the better deal!
