Question. Napkins

Should I have cake napkins in addition to the dinner napkins? I am thinking that most people will have their dinner one still when cake is served. Should I get smaller ones for cake or can I just have extra dinner napkins available for those who threw theirs away?

Re: Question. Napkins

  • I am just going to have extra dinner napkins to go w/mine

  • I think it just depends on if you want something different and don't mind the extra cost.
I think that having some extra dinner napkins would work though.

[QUOTE]Gosh darn it!! Gah! I was wondering if I should buy seperate cake napkins when most people will have their dinner napkins still. (since it is buffet) Can I just buy extra dinner napkins in case people need another one? It won't save a ton of money, but I am really close to being able to get cloth tablecloths, so it will help. haha.

I'd say your find buying extra napkins just in case.

My venue does cloth napkins for dinner (I'm also doing a buffet) and then smaller paper napkins for dessert.

  • I have cloth napkins and cocktail napkins (which is about the same as cake napkins) my reasoning was because once dinner is done no one uses their napkins... I myself happen to spill drinks so having a cocktail napkin is beneficial. I ordered them through smartyhadaparty.com for a pretty reasonable price.
