So I am working on making a mock up of our invitations now that I have a date officially and I had a question for you ladies. Because we are inviting the max amount of people our venue will hold, we have no room for people writing in additional guests. I've read that typically (or at least traditionally) you would have an outer envelope addressed to the person or family and an inner envelope that was addressed to each individual person (i.e. person x, person y, and person z or person x and guest). Is there any other way I could incorporate exactly who is invited without using an inner envelope? That is just an excess cost I can't afford. I know that on the RSVP cards I can say something like "we have ___ seats reserved for you" but that still doesn't specify who is invited. Also, some people have used a belly band over their invitations and put the people's names on that. I wanted to do a belly band with our monogram so that idea doesn't work for me. Am I going to have to either do a belly band with their names or an inner enevelope to specify, or do you ladies know of another way? TIA for the ideas!
