I got engaged July 11th. July 23rd my mom and I went to a local boutique to try on some dresses to get a general idea. Found a beautiful almost-$800 dress. I had an appointment on the 24th at David's Bridal, so I went there with my mom, sister (MOH) and the groom's mom. I tried on several dresses but none of them looked good.
I was about to give up when my consultant asked if I wanted to try on a lace gown she had picked out for me. I hesitantly said yes, thinking I wouldn't look good in lace. Lo and behold, it was the best dress of the day. After we all agreed that it looked good, she told us that it was $99! I couldn't decide whether I liked the one from the boutique or this one better, and it was the price that made up my mind. I think it's perfect for an outdoor summer wedding, and I love the train. It's in a dress bag in my parents' spare closet. Was the last one left and fits perfectly. Only thing it needs is a bustle
