STDs - Opinions please! PIP

Hello dearies! My friend is making our STDS and they aren't 100% done yet (ha, he put the wrong date), but what do you think?

I'm printing these as postcards in Vista Print. They're just normal postcard size right? And they're good quality and don't look... cheap? I guess that's my one concern ordering from them.

I think the design is cute, but the purple and yellow seem a little too strong--maybe you could replace the yellow with just white? Or tone down the purple? Just my opinion...

i ordered large postcards from VP for our STDs and they came out great!  can't speak to the regular sized ones.  the large take 44c stamps though   i agree with the colors- it's great because they definitely convey the message, but it pulls the focus off the pic of the 2 of you a little bit.  and i would definitely make the lettering for the words "save the date" darker to stand out a little more.

I know a lot of ladies have ordered their STD's using VP postcards; personally, I loved them and definitely don't think they looked cheap.

Here are some things I noticed about your STD: The yellow "the" is hard to see with the background of the picture.  The yellow 23 really jumps out at you.  If it mine I would tone that down a bit, but that's just me.  And my last bit of feedback is that I have found many "older" people don't appreciate the kissing photos as much as we do.  Definitely a cute picture, but you might want to consider your audience and if any of your relatives might not like that choice.  I know the grandparents usually like to see the traditional face-forward pictures.

They look great, I might just brighten up the Save the date line because it is a little faint compared to the rest of the wording.
