So on Friday we met with the caterer who we ended up booking for the wedding! Our meal will be a lunch of spaghetti with marinara sauce, baked chicken breast, salad, rolls, and punch. She is also doing our cake, and we decided on a small, two tier round cake with a green ribbon and chocolate leaves at the base of each tier. This cake will feed about 60, and then we are doing a double layer sheet cake for the rest

After calculating all of the expenses, including tax and gratuity, everything came out about $400 under budget!
I also completed my first DIY projects this week!

I suppose these checks are an appropriate, ceremonious end to my summer of wedding planning. My final semester starts on the 29th which means I'll be hard at work finishing up my credits, my 70-page senior thesis, and conducting a massive job search! I'll still be doing some WR things, but for the most part it will be big, four month break! I know it will go by insanely fast, though, and then it will only be six months to go!
