Ugh. Am I ridiculous thinking that my mom should care and want to help plan my wedding? I keep asking her opinion on things but she either turns everything down or just doesn't care (without offering other options). I don't know how many times I have cried about this now and I really just think maybe I'm being silly. But really, I ask her her opinion on like one or two things a week, maximum and she makes me feel like she just doesn't care and I'm bothering her.
I WISH I had one of those overbaring mothers that is just so excited and wants to be involved in everything. She made it seem like it was such a hassle to even go to the shop to pick up my dress with me (literally called me selfish, when i gave her a weeks notice and just simply asked if she could make it).
She isn't MEAN about anything, she just acts like she has better things to do and that I'm being silly. The only thing she has showed actual excitement with is what she is going to wear.
