Early Christmas Present

So tonight we did our Christmas with another couple. We got each other gifts and FI said he didn't have mine but was taking me to pick it out. He drew a pearl necklace on paper and wrapped it haha. He was like I wanted you to pick it out to make sure you got what you wanted. I've wanted a pearl necklace since we started dating! He was like now you'll have it for all of your showers and RD (I'm wearing a diamond necklace he got me for the wedding) I'm so excited to go pick it out this weekend!

Going off of Tiffany's comment, I have to admit that pearls are so not my thing, at all. My mom made me wear hers and this ugly black dress for my senior pictures. I hate them (the pictures that is).

That is so amazing. I would love to have pearl necklace. I know I already said this on a previous post but I am wearing FI's grandmothers pearl necklace for the wedding. I can't wait.

Yay! How exciting! I think FMIL got me a strand for Christmas to wear on our wedding day, but I'm not 100% positive!

I wanted a pearl necklace so bad, and FI got me a triple strand one a few Christmases ago.  The problemo is that my mother got me one last Christmas that is a single-strand.  I feel like the single-strand is something I can wear more often, but I generally only break it out when its a fancy occasion, in which case I would wear the triple-strand since that is dressier.  Any advice?
