So I was supposed to call the golf club today to see if they were available, but before I had a chance to call, I had an email from them saying they were available on our day, as well as the day before. I emaile back said great, and asked to make an appointment Friday to put down the deposit.
I got home from work and the guy replied that he had been loking at 2013 and as of right now they "tentatively" have our date not available due to an annual event, he should know more in the next couple of weeks and did I want to book the following weekend instead. Of course I replied back that no, we already have stuff booked for our day, and to please let me know ASAP if it is in fact available.
FI and I already decided that the venue we had originally planned on is too expensive, so now I'm back searching for venues and not really turning up anything. If I have to use my back-up, I am going to be very disappointed
