Sooooo as some of you know, I've been looking for a more legit job lately. I have a BS and MBA in Accounting, and I've been doing Accounts Receivable collections for a big company that is headquartered locally. Basically it sucks, I get screamed at all day by customers that don't pay their bills on time, its not accounting, and worst of all, the pay is TERRIBLE and I can't afford to move out and pay back my loans when the time comes (next month).
Wednesdayyyyy I had an interview for an Accountant position with the company I had my internships with, and Thursday I found out that I got it! The pay is almost twice what I'm making now, which is really great news on the loan & moving out front. I'm just so excited!! Now hopefully FI can get the job he's hoping for, and we'll be all set!
