We've been working on the guest list ever since we hit the year out mark. And I want a small wedding, I was planning to invite 120 people, tops. My fiance and I both have large families, so that's taking up most of the space on the list. I have about 10 friends on the list, two of them are a couple, the others are single and not in serious relationships and they all know each other so they don't need dates..
He keeps adding people that used to be important to him, but he hasn't spoken to in years. It's people like his track coaches and violin teachers and people he used to run with but hasn't seen since we graduated. And it's adding up!
I've tried to explain that we need to keep it small and we can't afford all of those people. He agreed to cut people so we could have more money for the honeymoon, but he only wants to cut half the people I want to. He just says that most of them won't come anyway. Then I explain that we don't need to plan on people not showing up because if they do all want to come, we're screwed, but he won't listen.
It's driving me crazy!
