I need some advice about what to wear for my engagement photos. We haven't scheduled them yet, but I want to take them at the beach close to my house, there's also a carousel there, so I hope to get a few shots on that. I'll post a couple of my inspiration pictures so everyone can get an idea of the kind of session I'm hoping for.
I sort of want to wear a floaty, feminine dress, but I'm afraid the dresses I'm considering are too casual. On the other hand, the pictures I want aren't exactly super formal (besides maybe a few close ups). I've also seen a few pictures where the bride-to-be is getting a piggy-back ride wearing nice jeans and nice heels, I thought that might be a cute idea. If I do that then I could wear a shirt that's more covered for any close-ups (the dresses I like are a little cleavage-y, which I don't really want for a close-up).
Do you think its necessary to have one formal outfit and another casual one, or is it OK to keep the entire engagement session casual? Are there any guidelines anyone kept in mind while choosing their attire for their e-photos?
