Do you think it's possible to lose 15 pds. by...

Sept. 6th?  That's around the time of my first fitting.  My FMIL is doing the alterations that's why it's so late.  I just sped walked around my office's perimeter 3 times than jogged up 6 flights.  I'm tired of this crap.  I'm gonna eat like a da*n pig on my honeymoon.  Seriously, you think it's possible?

it is possible. just try not to do things that are so drastic that you make yourself sick. even cutting out lots of foods then going on your honeymoon and incorporating them back into your diet could make you feel sick.

Very true.  I'm trying to do it the right way by eating healthy and working out but I have no one to blame but myself since I just finally decided to stop snacking :-(

It better be possible. lol. My wedding is 9-12 and my dress still doesn't zip up. I need to lose 15lbs to know that it will zip up and I can breathe in it. You can do it, just cut some calories and amp up your workouts. I'm doing 6 days  a week cardio for 45 minutes,  2 days a week, I do a Pilates dvd for toning. Also, 3 days out of the week, I do some stuff with 5lbs weights for legs and arms. If you need ideas, I'd check out that show Bulding Bride. They get those girls in shape in 6 weeks. Good luck.

and MrsW2000, plenty of water. I do 2 to 3 22oz containers a day. If that gets old (and it does very quickly) add something like lemon juice or that Crystal light stuff.

Thanks Gameplan!  I've been drinking those slimfast shakes too but that gets old quickly too.  Stupid wedding dress, lol.  Why the heck did I pick a tight a** mermaid style?

It is very possible especially if you detox and cleanse your system....if you know what I mean....

It's possible and the best tip I've heard to do it in a healthy way is drink a bottle of water before every meal cut out as much sugar and as many carbs as possible. Eat lots of veggies and protein and it'll keep your energy level up and keep you feeling full while losing weight. Good Luck!

MrsW200, I'd watch the slim fast. You end up gaining it all back once you stop using the product. Portion control, water and exercise. You'll be fine.

Yes, it's very much possible. However, be forewarned that if you don't have much to lose, and are already within a normal weight range then it may be a little bit more difficult compared to those who have a lot to lose. You will need to be tough on yourself. 1) If you consume any sugar, or drink anything with calories GET RID of it. Drink LOTS of water. At least 64 ounces. More is better. 2) Stay away from ALL white foods- I already mentioned sugar but also stay away from ALL white flour and enriched foods. Make sure the first thing say WHOLE wheat in the ingredient list. 3) Limit your carb intake. Carbs are good for you if you pick the right kinds. Think Fruit/Veggies, whole grains. Consume them earlier in the day. Stay away from CARBS in the evening unless you work out in the evening. So at your dinner menu if you eat a lean protein with vegetables then that's good. 4) Stick to LEAN meats like chicken, turkey (SKINLESS), fish. 5) Consume some healthy fats. Some fats are good. Like Olive/Canola oil, nuts 6) NEVER eat a carb by itself. Make sure you eat it with a protein. 7) Make sure you are eating enough. Not eating enough is just as bad as eating too much and cause you to gain weight. Don't skip any meals and a snack is OK as long as you are eating something healthy. Exercise you want to make sure you do BOTH cardio and strength training exercises. Cardio at LEAST 4-5x a week for about 45-60 minutes. Do strength training exercises about 2-3x a week for about 15-20 minutes. You don't have to use heavy weights. You can even use your body weight- Think Squats, leg raises, push ups, sit ups, pilates, arm circles.

Thanks for the tips ladies!  All good advice.  Proverbs-  I really appreciate you taking the time to write that list out.  It definitely helps to see a weight loss plan directly in front of you.  I'm gonna print that out!

Yes, its definitely feasible. If slimfast works for you, do it. However, regardless of how you lose weight you will gain it back if you go back to old habits and eat like crap after the wedding....GL chick
