FEMALES & WEDDING DRAMA, Y?

Ladies......ok so tell me your thoughts on why there always seems to be some drama between the one maybe a couple of the BM's and the bride?   We know this is not always the case but more often times then not, I feel like the women that are particpating in the wedding often have a tendency to "hate on" the bride. This even happens when you have married girls acting as bridesmaids and matrons...I mean really whats up with that? They were married once and should understand the stresses and presure that comes along with planning a nice, one time event that you are spending a grip on.I didnt give any specific examples but do you think its the whole, "female rivarly" that tends to happen between women sometimes? I mean that in terms of some women who are insecure and are not able to support another woman who they believe is a threat to them or they are jealous of? or maybe some women dont like being told what to do by another woman b/c it her thing? What ya'll think?

that is so petty...it's like you try to choose wisely when selecting your Bridal party, but sometimes jealousy is like a disease whe it comes to woman. I chose all my bestfriends and I PRAY that there is no drama when it comes to asking them to do something. We shall seee...lol

you know I've always wondered about this...I've wondered if this was a AA thing or a "female" thing all togehter...from what I've experenced in the 2 weddings I've been involved in, it seems as though the bride sometimes forgets that HER wedding isn't top priority to the BP and thus the catiness comes out because alot of brides feel entitled to getting what they ask for from the BP...on the other hand, there are some females that just can't accept that the spotlight is not for YOU it's for the bride, deal with it...you are her support team...yeah she'll ask you for your advice but please understand that your advice is just that a-d-v-i-c-e and she has the option of not taking it as it is HER day...

IMO I feel that as the bride you should only include ppl that have supported you in life PERIOD! We all know who has been there for us and we know who we have been there for! We all know and have exprienced that when you get the ring on your finger and start plan a wedding ppl true colors come out. They get "green eyed" jealousy is a beast.It amazes me it was all good when you were just dating and taking about marriage but planning to be married is a whole other issue! As a bride I don't expect for my wedding to be anyone's # 1 priority! I expect ppl to be involved if the want and that's it. I just want to enjoy my time as a BRIDE and everyone who wants to be a part  come and join the fun and the chaos!

JEALOUSLY!! ENVY!! BITTERNESS! At least this is something that I feel coming from just ONE of my BMs. A lil background:She had a BF who she was with for about 3 yrs. They brokeup..within that same year he was married to another  and is about to have a baby..with those circumstances its understandable...

I actually had to take the pp advice recently and just do me....offer it and let it be done....

ditto what cat said.  also idk what it is i think for already married woment they think their weddign was the end all be all and everyone should do what they did and for the not married its kind of like planning your wedding just in case so you keep "if i were you I would" so than the bride stay mad and in the end im not sure if it should really be a test of your friendship.  Because the closest friends still go throught this.  Its something abou tthe word wedding. But that same friend in any other situation right there with you through the trenches.

exactly why i only have 1 maid of honor (my momma) and he has 1 best man (his dad). who needs the stress?
