If you ask me my ideals for MY wedding and I tell you, don't put them down. If I say I want birds on everyone head.... So what!!!!! I'm so damn tired of ppl trying to change my plans and vision but in your wedding I did everything you wanted me to do. I wore what you wanted me to because it was YOUR wedding!!!!!! I'm getting married in June what's wrong with my MOA and BM walking down with sunflower's? I really hate when ppl try to tell me what I want and what I should do. Advise I don't mine taking but don't turn your funky nose up at me!!!! HUh I feel better.

    all i can say is Amen. My FSIL is  a bridesmaid. My BM dress is any knee length chiffon conflower blue dress at davids bridal, so its the same material. There are 8 choices. I wanted them to like their dress the other BM were happy. She complained and told me at her wedding she will wear long dresses who wears short dresses everything has been a complaint. I told her she can wear any gold pump she wants. That way the BM can save money wearing shoes they have in their closet My FSIL complained. What am i suppose to do? I feel the same way give me advise not an additude.

    I decided to make a notebook of all the things I want. Their won't be any complaining done, I don't wan to hear it. I'm sticking to the book. Blame and simple!!!

    hey shaunta!!...girl first let me say - I <3 your siggy pose - I'm stealing that for whenever DH & I take another pic together...LOL!  (I've been meaning to tell you this for the longest) but to your post - yes we all understand and have experienced what you are talking about, I think it's a great idea to put your ideas down in a notebook and stick to them WITHOUT input from anyone else (other than FI)...I totally stopped talking to my friends about our vow renewal event because I got the famous "WHY YOU PLANNING IT SO SOON?!" ...so as you can see, I do feel how you feel about this topic...

    Girl do you! I love sunflowers one of my fav flowers and if you like it do it. Period! Great idea.

    Shaunta I completely agree! My aunt asked me why I wanted purple as my base color. She said it was an old lady color. I just looked at her and smiled and said that it was because I wanted it... Then she made comments about my memorial candle for my parents. Said it would bring too much focus on the fact that they were no longer here... First of all everyone knows they aren't here, 2nd, it's my wedding therefore I'm going to do what I want to do & 3rd (directed to my sis), stop telling everyone what I'm doing!! Bottom line, someone is ALWAYS going to have something to say about something... I've learned to ignore all of it!

    Julinejb- I got that to girl. Fi father died and my uncle. I thought about a slide show and I got the" Why you doing that you go make every body sad. I told her to kick bricks.Aquarius- Thanks girl. I think sunflowers are beautiful !!!!!Alfdallas125- lol thanks missy. I started planning my wedding as soon as I got engaged and everyone talked about me even on here. It's like they don't remember those feeling. All them can kick brinks too =-) Because of my early palnning my wedding is already paid for=-)!!! No worrys

    Girl I feel you!  I have my choir robe on because you are preaching to the choir!!!  I am having the same problem with my BMs.  My colors are freakin' navy blue and fuschia I received complaints about navy blue dresses.  My former MOH told me that she doesn't look good in navy blue.  That's crazy!  Who doesn't look good in freakin' navy blue???  My dresses were affordable and a classic style.  What the hell more do that want?  They are so annoying!  There is nothing wrong with your bm's walking down with sunflowers, I think that it will be beautiful.  And I agree with you, you need to remind these people that when they got married you wore what they wanted with no complaints.  The nerve of some people!  Now I'm pissed!  I think I need a drink.
