How is your communication with your ex's? Do you still communicate with them by email, phone, or morse code? If you ran into your ex, do you say "hello" or run the opposite direction?Last weekend, fiance's gd had a birthday party at a local park. We get there late and talking to everybody, I go to turn around and there is my ex bf. I had to do a double take to make sure, because I haven't seen him in a minute. I wanted to say hello but he was with his kid and baby momma and I didn't want no crap to jump off incase. He saw me but he kept turning his back like he didn't lol. It has been atleast 8yrs and I dont understand men, why not just say hey. This is th second time I have seen him in a years. Last time we were at the laundrymat and this nut pulled his hood over his head and proceeded like he didn't see me. You have a kid, I have a fi; we both have grown up, why we just cant be cordial? I see his sister out  and she always tell me about her kids and how's th family.

If the police wasn't involved in our breakup *or at least if they should have been* then I don't see the harm in the occasional email or a full on chat if I see you walking around - especially if it was a serious relationship. Dude, you were in my life for a reason and though shite did not work out, you were still an important part of shaping me. Why should I just act as if we were just strangers when you've seen me cry AND know my tongue skillz, lol? Again, the very act of purposely ignoring the other person gives him more power over your current situation than you'd like to think. JMO!

P doesnt communicate with any exes. There's 1 that he USED to hear from every now and again. he claims if a hurricane was coming our way they'd check up on each other or for b/day and holidays. I shut all that ish down when he gave me the blues about old stuff. All my exes live in different cities from me. I don't play where i live! Wait - let's put this in past tense. "I didn't play where I lived". No real chance of running into anyone. There's 1 ex that I'd consider a friend. We were simply not compatible, no hard feelings. We both knew it wasn't meant to be. We still chat every now and again. He's my go to guy for certain things. He's called me for legal adivce and such. Like I've said...we're all adults and know what's inappropriate when dealing with the opposite sex. I don't think it's fair to tell our mates who they can and can't talk to. Shows some insecurities imo.

The only ex I really deal with is my kid's dad. I've seen another ex out on the street once or twice and we've spoken, but like Cat said, I never played where I slept. Too risky, LOL. Since I did all my dirt in NJ, I'm in NY now, so there is no way I'm bumping into any exes out here!! WHEW!!!

Not a chance I had to take a restraining order out on my ex. If I see him I definietly go the other way as quickly as possible.

Thank God ex and I did not have to involve the police but it could have been, so I will chalk it up and KIM like I have been.

I speak to two of my exes every now and again.  FI doesnt know about it.  One of the ex's he know. They have a mutual friend in common.  I dont speak to him that often anymore because for some reason everytime I talked to him he would go to the mutal friend and be like I talked to Crystal the other day.  Then of course the mutual friend would go to FI and tell him.  So I would have FI coming to me like what you talk to him about.  Crazyness.  THe other that I speak too sometimes I was in a relationship with for 4 years.  We ended on good terms so I speak with him about twice a year.  I am good freinds with his SIL so I may speak to him if he is at there house when I call.  Thats it
