Cake Toppers

How many of you are doing cake toppers and if you are what do they look like. I can't decide if I want one or not. The top tier of our cake will have our mongram on it so I'm not sure if a cake topper will be too much.

We are doing monogram and a few fresh flowers only, nothing else.  IMHO, that's plenty.

we are doing two bunnies one brown one red (think those popular bird cake toppers but with bunnies)

Our cake topper is a blinged out monogram. Since your monogram is already going to be on the top tier, maybe you should have flowers on the very top to not overdue it. JMHO cause I'm a "less is more" kinda girl. HTH!!

We did a monogram.  I wanted flowers but kept forgetting to tell the caterer.  in the end, it looked just fine without it and the flowers may have taken away from the look of the cake since it had a little whimsical look to it.

I ended up ordering an engraved heart shape topper, thanks to Cat! It was on sale, and I snuck a coupon in on them as well. We will also have butterflies cascading up the side so I wanted something simple and elegant with the topper.
