AAAHHHHH. Well yeah I can see that. What's wrong with earlier in 2011? The more time you have to plan the more time you have to drive yourself insane with changing your mind and people getting on your last nerve. Ohhhh I like 08/09/10 but that is a Monday

Is there a particular reason your date is so far out? Is that what you want? If you want a date sooner than that then girl pic one. You want us to help select one for you? 800 days of planning? girl I would loose my finger lickin mind! I had to push my date out and I am losing it because there really isn't too much else to do accept pay the caterer and get the last little bit of things done and wait. So I know how you feel somewhat.

I thought about 11/11/11 but fi was like no, so we settled with 9/10/11. I know only 2 months difference but that still gives us enough time to plan, save money, a for me to finally get out of SCHOOL. So try to relax and sit down with fi and see how long does he want to prolong this engagement.

we were  going to do 01.01.11 but its winter depending where your located it perfect for a party. everyone is off for the holidays this is making me reconsider my date as i type. school is on break still and you can go on honeymoon before the semester starts back! just a suggestion! GL!

I actually like that date. January 1, 2011. It would be the 2 year anniversary to when he proposed to me as well which is kind of a nice sentiment. The reason we're prolonging it until 2011 is because he wants to finish school and get a good job before we're married. It sucks b/c I want to start planning my dag on wedding

I did the two year thing and honey it seems like forever but I swear to you that it went fast. I got engaged on 07.07.07 and the wedding is 09.19.09! I would always recommend a long engagement because it gave us time to save. We are not able to pay everyone in cash. I got my first pick in my vendors and was able to shop around because there was no time constraints. I remember when the clock said 715 days, now I only got 15 days and I am still doing stuff. The last minute stuff will kill you and will be there no matter how early you start.
