Two years ago, today, my friend lost her husband and her fahter-in-law. She and her husband waited to share their honeymoon trip with his parents who were celebrating their anniversary. Other family members decided to go, turning it into a family trip, which they were cool with because family was very important to them. On this day two years ago, they went to the beach, two family members got caught in the current and my friend's husband and father in law went out to save them. The two were saved but D and Poppa G as they were so affectionately called lost their lives. I texted my friend this morning just to tell her I prayed for her. But if you can today, please take a moment to say a little prayer that God will strengthen her and help her get through. She and their family continue struggle with this; she only had the opportunity to be married for a month. And as you pray for her, count your own blessings and be thankful for the moments you share with your FI and DH's. TIA.
