Anyone care to share their ceremony playlist?

I'm having the darndest time coming up with ceremony music & while I have some picks, I'm not 100% sold. So, anyone care to share their ceremony playlist?Hopefully I'm not the only bride-to-be that's struggling with this.

No, you are not the only one struggling. We are definitely having Ave Maria sang at the ceremony. A harpist is playing a song from Madame Butterfly my mom picked out, and the pre-ceremony music is picked out by our music guy. I do know all the music is classical.

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. Music the moms, grandmoms & bridal party walk down to. Primarily I need songs for mothers & grandmothers to walk down to as well as background music to play while guests are waiting for the ceremony to begin. Glad to know I'm not the only one! ;)

You're not the only one.  I have no idea.  I've been snooping around other people's bios to get ideas.  We're hiring violinists to play at our ceremony and cocktail hour.  The only song I know I want them to play is "Rapture" by Anita Baker.  I'm just not sure who is walking down to it.  I thought about walking down to it myself.  But I don't know.  I love pp idea to use Ave Maria.  I may use that for the bridal party.

I've been to weddings where they played popular music. People were singing to the words, talking about the possible reception music, if they were going to party hard. In my opinion, your ceremony should be as sacred as possible, that includes musical selections. I know I didn't want my BP snap, crackle, and popping down the aisle or singing along with the music. Something to think about.

Love "Rapture"...adding to list. So far I know my girls will walk down to "At this Time" by Algebra B. I know I'm walking down to "Me for you (the wedding song)" by Johnny GillThe rest is a complete blank. Argh!

TamTam,Ave Maria is beautiful. FI is Dominican so we had to have it, plus it's' one of my fav songs. But please don't get the Beyonce rendition, try to get someone to sing it in either Italian or Spanish, we are having it in Spanish (of course).

I haven't given much thought to this yet, but a must have song for me is "Makings of You" by Angie Stone.  The words are absolutely beautiful.  Check it out.

Lovie,  don't worry, I'm not too fond of the Beyonce version (I mean it's ok, but just not what I'm going for).  I was just going to have the violinists play it.  No singing.  msthompson2b, you have me thinking about this now.  I've given a lot of thought to what I want them to play during the cocktail hour, but not so much the ceremony.  I went onto the website of my ceremony musicians and I came up with a few ideas:  Cannon In D, Air On A G String, and Suite Addelazar.  Are you hiring muscians for the ceremony?

I know I have some time but I'm struggling to. I only have one song. The one I am walking to which is a gospel song Closer by B.B. and Cee-Cee Winans.
