Today my grandma(BoPeep) went in to have day surgery on her rotator cuff. Well before they even went into surgery they gave her some local anesthesia and she had a reaction. Ladies my BoPeep had a seizure then she stopped breathing and her heart stopped. She had died. They had to shock her to bring her back. Thank you Jesus for bringing her back. They had to incubate(sp?)her and everything. My Mom was hysterical when she called me and I had to call my sisters and rushed to the hospital(running red lights and everything). Thank God the hospital is right around the corner from my house. I saw my Bo Peep with that tube down her throat y'all I never thought I would see her like that. She began to respond and she didn't want the tube in so she tried to pull it out. So the doctor took it out. Thankfully she didn't have any brain damage. She knew her name and she said she wanted to go home.She's fine but in ICU. I feel like I took her for granted. I didn't even call to talk to her before the surgery I just assumed she would be ok and I would see her at her house tonight. What if she would have died and I wouldn't have been able to tell her I love her? How would I live with myself?I learned my lesson I will never talk anybody for granted again. I thank the lord for having his hands on my granny today. Thank you Jesus!!!!
