Update: re: we are almost

Hello Ladies,We found out this evening we will not be closing on our home tomorrow.. At first I was upset and then I thought about it and realized that God has other plans. What those plans are right we don't know.. FI is determined to make it happen and I am behind him with full support.. I will keep you posted on the outcome...  Thanks for your words of encouragement and especially your prayers.Crystal

Closings are fickle, especially in new construction. You are in my prayers. Take this time to look at the contract with a fine tooth comb.

My closing was postponed twice...but I'm sitting in my house now! God is able! Keep the faith!

Look for clauses that stipulate closing by a certain date on new construction. If you are delayed, you should have signed an addendum to the original for the lender, builder, etc.....the builder can't get their money until you close unless the builder financed the development with his own money, not likely in this economy.

@Lovie, I will have FI do that tomorrow since the actual closing date is tomorrow.... @sdstephens, I know God does things on his own time..

I am so sorry to hear that Crystal. But just keep the faith and keep praying. God works in mysterious ways. Just be encouraged and stay faithful that it will all work out. I will keep you and FI in prayer.
