Piggy Backing - Walking down the aisle

Piggy Backing off of 20pearls. 

I feel ya! We are the same age and I have planned to have my 11 year old walk me down the aisle with my daughter who is 13.  But then the other day FI asked me to pick the last GM.  The problem is he also mentioned he would have chosen my son to be one of his GM had I not said my son was going to walk me down the aisle.  There is no other person I would have walk me down the aisle because my father passed away and even though I could ask my step dad, my sister hasn't gotten married yet and I don't want to take that from her.  My uncle would gladly do it but there is some family drama with him and his daughter over her wedding and his lack of attendance. 

So WWYD? 

A) let FI have son as a GM and then walk down the aisle alone? 
have one less GM but then have son walk you down the aisle?
C) IF I could convince my mom, ask her to walk me down the aisle?  SN - mom likes here own audience
D) something else?

This! This is what my brother is doing. He's walking me down the aisle then joining the GM.
