My hair stylist just cancelled on me

With 11 days to go my hair dresser just found out that she has to have surgery. She has a torn ACL and won't be able to make the trip up here. My mother is also the Godmother of her kids so this isn't some random person so it is a double hit for me. My hair was the second biggest crisis and now its back again. I'm trying not to stress. I'm pissed but understand.

Can she refer another stylist to you for the wedding? I know you will miss her, but I am sure that she knows someone who can do your hair.  My mother is a hair stylist and normally does my hair.  When she is unavailable (yes, my mom has bumped me before), she has a colleague who I trust to do my hair in her absence.  For the wedding, I am going to ask the stand in to do my hair because I want my mom to be with me and not worried about my hair.

Change your outlook Momma ... You have 11 days. Schedule a trial and wedding day appointment. Send her a get well card and continue to prepare to marry your King. Hair is a big deal yes but focus on the positives of the situation. As they say "it could always be worse" *hugs*

She lives in MD where I am from but I curently live in Philly. I had her doing my hair because I couldn't find a stylist in phlly that would do it on a sunday. So she can't recommend someone. I am going to start the search again tomorrow.

Hi I work in Baltimore MD and go to an amazing hair stylist here.  I just got my hair done yesterday so I can take a pic and send it to you if you want, nothing special just a wash and flat iron, but at least you will have an idea of her work.  I'm not sure if she is willing to travel or not, but PM me if you want her contact information.

You have a gorgeous smile in your siggy..no one will notice your hair. But its still going to look amazing, while your out and about notice someone with fab hair and ask them where they go I found a great talented stylist that way. Something will work out for sure.
