  • Ok well you have my attn...what was the question?! I'm doing one too but I don't know where to get it from. I'm thinking DIY or the vistaprint lawn sign. I'm not paying Etsy.

  • If it helps any I downloaded a zip file that has a bunch of sign templates in it.  I haven't done anything with it yet but you are more than welcome to have them too.  Here's what it looks like

The file has signs for reserved, bride, groom, ladies, gents, thank you, etc.

Lol wow I didn't know I had company with this sign idea. The original question was about wording. My sign is going to be held by our 3 yr old daughter (her cousin is throwing the flower petals) & it was going to read:" Hi Daddy, here comes your bride!" but now I'm thinking of putting "Hi Daddy, here comes your bride a.k.a Mommy!" I didn't know if I was overdoing it but FI said he loved the 2nd option better. For this project, we were going to go through VistaPrint or Etsy but of course, I had to do some research & see where I could pinch pennies. So now, I'm using a foam board (got it from Hobby Lobby) and cardstock paper (a bit more tougher than construction paper). We're gonna stencil out the letters from the cardstock, somehow glue them to the board, and then I'll decorate the rest of the board with ribbon, glitter, etc. As for those who want actual banners & not signs, I wanted that originally but kept coming across complications in that DIY pursuit so I just switched to a board which is just as good and more sturdy for my kid to handle anyway.
