Ok ladies, I created my save the date as my first DIY.  I am hoping to get it on magnets, so please give me your feedback.

    I would crop the picture a little bit more so you can't see the table.  I think it will give it a more polished look.  I also like the top one better since the bottom one is hard to read because of the blue background being so dark.  Maybe you could change the blue to green and the green on the bottom to blue.  Or maybe change the font color so you can see it better against the blue.  White would stand out. HTH 

    Great job.  I know DIY projects can be challenging but as time goes on you will find yourself to be a pro.

    Agree with Djscat. Crop the picture to take out the table and whatever that is behind your Fi shoulder. Also if you have a website add it.

    Congrats on the DIY project.

    I dont thing it is busy at all. I think it is nice. I believe you are trying to incorporate the wedding colors. My suggestions.. I like the gray with the purple or blue(?) writing. I believe the last names are changed for safety (right?)

    Now for the photo... it is very sweet but I would try to use a better one. I like the hug and pose but if you have one where the picture is lighter or brighter that would be great. 

    The photos in the samples Kaimah posted are very clear and I can see them. If you have one like those that would be great. You don't have to do an engagement shoot for them, maybe you can just take a picture in your house or backyard.

    I like the concept and I love magnets!!!! Good job!

    Thanks for the feedback ladies.  I faded out the picture as I was trying to not have my "fabulous pink" jacket over power the wedding colors, but I will brighten it up or go on the hunt for a new one.  

    We haven't taken our EPics yet, and I want to get cracking on the STD.

    I agree with all of the other ladies, I think it seems busy because of the picture you chose. I would choose something that shows you 2 more clearly.
