question re: bridesmaids tank tops

I wanted all of my bm's to wear matching tanks the day of the wedding that say bridesmaid. However i wanted to DIY but where can i find cheap tank tops? Old Navy isn't having a sale right now so im perplexed.

Should I spend the extra money and do it or should i just do my own?

I really wanted it more for the unity of everything but at this point should i really care?

Would it be bad if i did one for just myself and my mom?

Michael's used to carry the iron-ons for tanks as well as other craft stores.  Try searching online to see if you can find the iron-ons.  I used to see them at Joann's and sometimes at Party City.

I have realized that they will mark up tanks with those words on there to a gazillion bucks.  lol.  

I love to see the prewedding pics with the BP in them.

I don't know how much total it's costing you if you DIY but I know that the Knot has them on sale for $12.99 right now. And I ditto what Fabbiegirl said Family Dollar has them for $4-$5

In answer to your last question, you have to ask yourself if you want the headache of DIYing all of these tank tops that everyone is more than likely going to wear that one time and never wear again.  If you were in their shoes, would you wear a tank top that says bridesmaid again?  I think you'll be okay with just making one for yourself and your mom.  But if you're okay with making multiple tank tops then go for it.
